Job Description

Jolt is targeting the best restaurant brands in the world. As one of our Solutions Engineers, you will be responsible for the product and technical specifications of Mid-Market and Enterprise sales opportunities. You will work cross-functionally with Jolt’s Product, Development, and Customer Success teams in addition to participating as an essential member of our Sales organization. You will work side-by-side with your teammates in Enterprise Sales, where you will become involved in the sales cycle during the first product demonstration. Your technical expertise, customer focus, and ability to prioritize ambiguous projects will help you to find success as a Solutions Engineer at Jolt.


  • Liaise with prospective Mid-Market and Enterprise customers as the primary technical resource on all potential deals.
  • Manage all pre-sales pilots and proofs of concept with a strong emphasis on meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations regarding their specific use cases.
  • Represent the company as a true product expert and advocate in all communication with prospective Jolt customers. Nobody should understand the product and its possibilities better than you.
  • Create a functioning internal communication workflow in which customer feedback is shared in detail with other stakeholders, including dev leads, product owners, sales reps, and customer success managers.
  • Take ownership of all technical aspects of RFPs/RFIs, and oversee all preparatory work leading up to the first product demonstration.
  • Attend customer trade shows, presentation meetings at HQ, regional meetings, and other brand events where relationships can be built, as needed.


  • Experience as a product manager, solutions engineer, or sales engineer with a software application
  • Experience selling and configuring both software and hardware solutions
  • Ability to travel about 20% of the job
  • Knowledge or experience using Jolt software (nice to have)
  • Experience working in restaurant or retail (nice to have)
